About my counselling practice
I’m Donna a qualified counsellor working from Leigh House in Pudsey, close to Leeds and Bradford.
I have a naturally warm and calm approach which I hope will help you to feel comfortable in our sessions.
I provide a safe environment where you can be yourself and discuss your thoughts, feelings and fears without worrying about being judged.
In addition to my counselling training, I have extensive experience supporting those affected by and going through treatment for a breast cancer diagnosis.
I offer face to face sessions and I also work online and by telephone, whichever is more convenient for you.
I am an associate counsellor with Wellbeing in the Arts and Healthwork, a creative support worker with Leeds Playhouse and an artist.
How counselling support can help you
I know just how tough and overwhelming life can be at times. Perhaps you are struggling to manage distressing feelings following a loss, bereavement, or a significant change in your circumstances?
You may be experiencing stress and anxiety, which could be affecting your confidence and self-esteem. Or you might feel that something is not quite right, but aren’t sure what the problem is.
I can help by providing you with a breathing space, some regular time just for you where you can talk about the issues that you are finding difficult to manage.
Working together to explore your feelings we can find a way for you to move forward by making positive choices and changes in your life.
